We Are Always Here 2-Prints and Stickers

from $10.00
Limit 50 per order

We Are Always Here 5 and 6 are part of an ongoing series of mixed media collages exploring the resilience of Indigenous womxn across generations—their survival held in memory, their presence always with us. Though I didn't grow up with Día de los Muertos, its spirit—vibrant colors, magical energy, joyful celebration, and honoring of ancestors—resonates deeply.

My work is rooted in visual storytelling and ancestral connection, exploring identity, generational wounds, reclamation, and healing through my personal experiences and family history. As I created this work, I felt my ancestors beside me.

These collages honor the matriarchs—Indigenous women of the Americas, those who migrated and those who have always been here. They honor those who guide us in spirit and those who walk beside us in body. They're a tribute to the womxn resisting oppression across this country. Their steady gazes and radiant forms carry memory and survival. The glowing colors and flowers reflect our sacred connection to the divine and illuminate the presence of our ancestors.
